Six Word Memoir

A year ago I started The Baggage Claim when an ILA teacher at one of the schools I work for asked us to write a biography poem to contribute to a book they were writing.

This year, it was a six word memoir.

I Am From the Suitcase

There was an all call to teachers at my school to contribute our own "I Am From" poems for a school poetry book. I whipped one up today, and - low and behold - it's inspired a new blog.  Check it out to read the poem:
